Long Term Care Restrictions Still In Place!

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania departments of Health and Human Services issued guidance for nursing homes, personal care homes, and other long-term and congregate care facilities as counties enter the green phase of the Governor’s Process to Reopen Pennsylvania. To further prevent outbreaks within these vulnerable populations, ongoing restrictions in long-term and congregate care facilities will remain in place at least 28 days after the respective facility’s county enters the green phase.

The Palms will continue to update you with any changes. Thank you for your continued cooperation!

Light Up Night at The Palms!

Tuesday, December 11, 2018

Thank you to all who joined us for our Annual Light Up Night!  Resident & visitors enjoyed light refreshments & a visit from Santa, along with Entertainment from Mikey Dee, our local Polka legend and Polka Hall of Fame inductee!  We would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a happy & healthy New Year!

Trick or Treat!

2018- Residents at The Palms at O'Neil had a wonderful time with visits from ghouls, goblins, pumpkins, angels, superheros and more during a visit on Halloween from a local daycare! The Palms at O'Neil annually hosts a Trick or Treat for area daycare children for an interactive, inter-generational experience. Residents & Families donate candy to pass out to the children and residents (some in costume) will line up while the children come around to trick or treat. Thank you to all who help make this possible and especially to our local daycare and parents for bringing our residents such joy as they would otherwise not be able to participate in the tradition that so many of them loved in the past. Even some of the staff donned costumes for the day!

07/21/2018 - Pavilion Grand Opening!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Pavilion Grand Re-Opening Party! Fun times were had by all, the young and the young at heart! Even though we had a light rain shower as we were getting underway, it did not deter the party-goers! Our residents, families and friends came out to enjoy the picnic lunch and great entertainment provided by Mikey Dee, DJ Rich Antoncic and Bo Wagner's Sinatra tribute! The clouds cleared and made way for the music and dancing!

The children who attended play in our Bounce Castle or in the yard with multiple other activities!

By the end of the party, everyone had full bellies and fantastic memories of a great day!
